A contemporary pearl necklace featuring uniquely fused and forged silver focal inspired by the hidden depths.
Darkly detailed, and utterly unique, Pearl Depths is a one of a kind original that celebrates the subtle forces of hidden secrets revealed and inmost desires achieved . Hand forged in sterling silver, this pearl necklace features uniquely fused and forged sterling silver, accented with a blackened sterling silver chain.
Pearls are fascinating organic jewels. Shaped under cover of darkness, they are the growth of beauty overcoming hardship. Locked away like hidden secrets, reflecting a contemplation of slow subtle matters, presented as a revelation of new beginnings to the world. Needing no cutting or man made polishing, pearls are the perfection of natural brilliance in their softly gleaming nacre. A thoughtful meditation on the nature of grace under pressures unseen.
Featuring an 18 inch patinated sterling silver chain, this necklace is a unique piece of sculptural art jewelry.
Note from the Artist
I made this elegant pearl necklace entirely by hand. I’m fascinated with the textures I can create combining fusing, forging, and casting. Each piece on my workbench is special, but with Pearl Depths I was inspired by the ever changing shifts of light and shadow.
