Highly textured silver bracelet features forged, reticulated, and embossed textures for the modern warrior. Vividly textured metal bangle bracelet inspired by the weathered surfaces that stand the test of time. Everyday wisdoms that can only be earned with experience, truths that overwhelm trivial natures and arrow into one’s soul, or breathtaking moments of pure serendipity that change the course of history. All these things link us one to another, drawing us together, past to present, and stranger to friend.
Organically forged in a cuff bracelet style, the Perpetual Connections sterling metal cuff explores the spontaneous choices that life brings us, and our experiences every step of the way. Hand forged, this unique contemporary bracelet is accented with a beautiful black patina.
This elegant silver bracelet is approximately 1 inch wide, and is 5.5 inches in circumference.
Note from the Artist
I made this one of a kind silver bracelet entirely by hand. I’m fascinated with the textures created by combining reticulation, granulation, and forging. Each piece on my workbench is special, but with Perpetual Connections I am inspired by the layers of experience that give us strength.
Every experience we have shapes our nature, giving us the strength to achieve our wildest dreams, and endure life’s toughest conflicts. Overcoming obstacles and achieving long held dreams, our life is a montage of defining moments conquered and memories claimed.
Probably one of the most rewarding things to create is handmade texture- and the texture in Perpetual Connections is no exception. I always approach the creation of texture a bit like a mad scientist. The alchemy of fire, force, and metal is unpredictable and enthralling. Each hammer blow shapes the metal in a new direction. Each pass of a torch runs the risk of artistic implosion, where the metal could sink into a formless mass once more. The thrill of creation is echoed in the rush of artistic freedom with every moment, until the final texture is achieved.
I hope you enjoy Perpetual Connections.
