Ruby in zoisite cabochon is focal stone in this neckpiece. She is embellished with a 24k yellow gold in top left corner to imitate the Japanese art of Kintsugi. (There is no damage to stone beneath as is often the case with Kintsugi.) The gold is added for adorn the piece fir aesthetic value. The setting is fine silver with fine silver balls granulated by hand and each soldered to add an organic feel to setting.
Beneath the focal is a small hollow form triangle which has a bright pink juicy tourmaline set in fine silver and beneath that are sterling silver sculptural elements and another hand forged hollow form and lastly, a dynamic, textured, and oxidized hand forged spiculum. (Cone.)
The piece hangs from a sturdy leather cord 5mm diameter and is graced with sterling silver hand fabricated links and clasp as well as handmade end caps. Length is adjustable from 16-19″ and can be customized by request.
